Midsummer Run

We had a small select group for our first Midsummer (+4 days) run. We all agreed we were so fortunate with the weather and with our timing. When we reached the ridge of Knockfarrel we could see the sun starting to appear over the horizon, but it was partially obscured by wispy clouds. We stood to watch it rise and shortly were rewarded with a glorious ball of fire appearing above the clouds. Fantastic!

All hail the rising sun!

With thanks to Neil for getting up in the middle of the night to get the lovely photos.
