Cross-Country running

Cross-country – wet, muddy, sandy, and surprisingly warm! The first race in the North District Cross-Country league was held on Saturday at Nairn beach/Culbin forest. Three of our members took part and we all enjoyed it. We were running on dry sand, wet sand, through small sea water pools, under trees, up and down tree-covered sand dunes, over tree roots and with a final short gravel path for a sprint finish. It was brilliant fun and I’d highly recommend it!

Looking triumphant after we’d finished!

Muir of Ord jog scotland is not an affiliated scottishathletics club, however anyone can enter a cross-country event as a guest. You are allowed to run two races as a guest.

Anyone else wish to join us for one of the other events in the league?
